HOW TO REACH THE START LINE We warmly recommend you to use the subway, take Metro A line and get off at “Flaminio” station. From here direction Viale G. Washington (inside Villa Borghese) 400/500 meters on foot to race services and the start areas. (Important notice: due to work in progress inside the other line of the underground, Metro B line, the roman trasport company "Atac spa" will make available buses as replacement service in that line).
TIMING AND BIB NUMBER Timing service is provided by Icron. There are two chips: one yet applied on the back of the bib and another one to apply in the shoe lace (the info inside the bib envelop). The timing chips are disposable. The timing chwck point areevery 5 km.
LEFT LUGGAGE The left luggage service will be located at Via Fiorello La Guardia (Villa Borghese, in front of Museo Bilotti, 100 meters before the access of the start areas). This service will be accessible from 6.30 am to 7.30 am. You have to apply the sticker on your bag before delivering it to the left luggage service (the sticker is inside your bib number envelope).
MEETING – START AREAS – START TIME Meeting will be at Piazzale delle Canestre (Villa Borghese) at 7 am (early morning). The race will start at 8 am in via delle Magnolie (Villa Borghese).
The start areas will be accessible starting from 7.30 am. The start areas:
A orange bib (30k & 50k)
B green bib (30k & 50k)
C white bib (10k not competitive)
The first part is one lap of 5 kmwith start of the race and lap finish in Via delle Magnolie (Villa Borghese). For the 50k, the 30k, the 10k races.

The second part is a 5 km circuit: 9 laps for the 50k, 5 laps for the 30k, 1 lap for the 10k. all inside Villa Borghese. Via delle Magnolie (besides being the start of the race and the lap end of the first part) is for the circuit the lap start and end and it is the finish-line of the race. This circuit is mostly on asphalt (90%) except for some stretches of dirt roads (10%).

REFRESHMENT AND SPONGE STATIONS You will find the refreshment stations in viale delle Magnolie (Villa Borghese) every 5 km starting from km 5 with water, saline supplement and other product and the finale with water, saline supplement and other products at the finish area. The sponge stations are every 5 km starting from km 7,5 in via San Paolo del Brasile.
WC The WC will be located nearby the start / finish area and along the route of the race.
FIRST AID STATIONS First aid stations will be located along the route and at the finish area.
FINISH LINE For every race distance (10k, 30k, 50k) you will arrive in via delle Magnolie (Villa Borghese). Be careful to take the correct lane for the finish-line! Once you pass the finish line and your chip gives your final time, you can proceed through the relative corral to receive the medal, the isothermal blanket (only for 30k and 50k) and the final refreshment.
TIME LIMIT 50k: 8 hours 30 minutes – 30k: 5 hours – 10k: 1 hour 30 minutes
POST-RACE: CHANGING TENT & MASSAGES After the race the changing tent will be in the left luggage area and near the aid station the massages service is available.
AWARD CEREMONIES Award ceremonies for the first 3 men and 3 women at the finish line finishing the race of 30k and 50k.
RESULTS Official rankings and diploma will be available after the race free of charge on www.icron.it. Regarding the 10k not competitive race there will be a list with surname, name and timing.
PHOTO Service by Pica Studio 5. You can download your personal photos on www.getpica.com or on the Pica app after the access you have to type the Pica code printed on your bib. Service to be paid.

UltraRoma 50K is a national race over a distance of fifty kilometers. Here the modality of the route.
REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE
Art.1) REGISTRATION OF NON-RESIDENT ATHLETES
Athletes who do not reside in Italy must be 20 or older on the race day. The following categories of non-Italy resident athletes are allowed to run the race :
a) Athletes holding a Runcard associated to the medical certificate for competitive athletics (specific for athletics). FIDAL (ITALIAN FEDERATION) DIDN'T RENEW THE PROMOTIONAL COST OF THE RUNCARD (€ 15) TO THE ORGANIZATIONS OF THE RACES.
b) Athletes holding a membership card of non-Italian Athletics Federations recognised by IAAF (so it is not compulsory to send the medical certificate for competitive athletic), upon registration these athletes may alternatively:
- upload a scanned version of the membership card recognized by IAAF; the card must be valid on the date of the event. The card must be consistent with competitive road racing according to the current legal provisions enforced in the athlete's Country of residence.
Art.2) COMPULSORY ASSURANCE AND MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS
Runcard is the Fidal (Italians Athletics Federation) card inclusive of an insurance policy against injuries, which is compulsory in Italy. The athlete's Runcard must be valid on the date of the event. Athletes are requested to comply with the rules connected to the Runcard.
How to get a Runcard:
Athletes could request the runcard on the card website www.runcard.com or
as per art. 1 a) - the Runcard is issued by the organisation in charge of the event throught the registration process on the website www.ultraroma50k.it; the Runcard will be sent via e-mail (within 72 hours from when the organisation receives payment);
The medical certificate for competitive athletics (no other titles will be allowed) is compulsory in Italy for elite and amateur runners and certifies the performance of the examinations required by law Italian:
medical examination - complete urine test - electrocardiogram at rest and after exertion – spirometry (Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982); it must be valid on the date of the event and issued by the athlete's general practitioner in the athlete's Country of residence.
DOWNLOADING HERE THE MEDICAL FORM (compulsory: only this form is allowed) to be submitted complete with physician's signature and print.
During registering, to speed up the validation process, athletes can upload the scanned Runcard and the medical certificate in their private area of mymdr.it or send them to the e-mail email@example.com
Athletes must produce the original of Runcard and the medical certificate to the Marathon Village at the time of bib number collection.

Art.4) PAYMENT OPTIONS
You can choose one of the following options:
- Visa or MasterCard payment on www.ultraroma50k.it (the transaction must be in Euros): online from the beginning of January 2019
- Bank transfer, (bank charges are on the payer), made out to "Romaratona srl" IBAN IT 40 G 01005 03221 000000003435
Registration fee will be calculated according to the date payment is made.
Payment must be done by credit card at the end of the procedure or in each case by 10 days from the registration date, in the modalities indicated; after that date the registration will be canceled and the procedure must be repeated by entering the reserved area of the site www.mymdr.it again.
At the time of registration on "mymdr" please fill in your record in marathon race achieved in last two years.
art.5) REGISTRATION FEE TRANSFER AND POSTPONEMENT
Registration fees are not refundable.
In case the athlete cannot take part in the race, they can choose to transfer their registration fee to another athlete or to the Ultra 50 K following edition.
Who will postpone the registration fee or the substitute must pay an additional fee of
€ 15.00 in order to cover transfer expenses and provide all necessary personal and participation information (membership card / physician statement). The deadline for this is August 31 , 2019.
art.6) BIB NUMBER AND RACE PACKET
Participants must personally pick up bib number and race packet on the following date and timetable:
- Saturday 05th October 2019 from 10.30am to 7pm. Location: "Cisalfa Sport" store, piazza G. Marconi 16/22 (Roma Eur), upper floor. How to get there: 300 mts from Metro B Eur Palasport (Important notice: due to work in progress inside the Metro B lines the roman trasport company (Atac) will make available buses as replacement service).
Upon bib number collection, you may be required to show the original membership card and / or medical certificate as well as the receipt of payment. For Runcard members it is mandatory to bring the original certificate for viewing and leave a copy to the organizers
Race packet contains Bib numbers and timing chip, Diadora race event T-shirt, gadgets to be confirmed.
art.7) FINISHER AWARDS ULTRA ROMA 50 K
The day of the race will be awarded the first three men and the first three absolute classified women. Not the race day but within 6 January 2020 the first three of each category, male and female, of the following categories: Over 20, Over 25, Over 30, Over 40, Over 45, Over 50, Over 55, Over 60, Over 65, Over 70, Over 75.
All athletes crossing the finish line will be awarded with the official medal and the online diploma on the race website.
Complaints must be presented within 30 minutes from the publication of the results, by paying a tax of € 100.00 (refunded if the complaint is found to be justified).
art.9) TIMEKEEPING BY CHIP - PHOTOS
The correctness of the race will be assured by the presence of FIDAL (Italian Competitive Athletic Federation ) Judges.
Tracking times and processing the results will be done by chips: Icron service on www.icron.it. For each athlete will be detected the time on finish and in the various intermediate points. Without chips the athlete cannot be detected and therefore will not result in the official ranking.
Bib numbers must be pinned on the chest in full and visible in every part. Those who do not have the visible number or will not pass the checks will be disqualified. The validation of the results must be performed by the Technical Delegate or by the Race Judge.
The photos are by Pica. Please type your Pica code (prionted on your bib) on www.getpica.com or Pica app: ypou can download your race photos (service to be paid).
art.10) MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Medical assistance will be guaranteed all along the racecourse.
art.11) REFRESHMENT POINTS
Refreshments are located, every 5 km, along the entire route.
art.12) LEFT LUGGAGE
A free left luggage service will be located near the starting line.
art.13) TIME LIMIT
The maximum time to finish the 50 km is fixed in 8 hours and 30 minutes.
The assistance and ranking services will be guaranteed until the last competitor.
art.14) RACE ROUTE
The route was measured and certified by Fidal ( Italian Competitive Athletic Federation ).
The route, closed to traffic, is monitored by the organization and the police.

art.16) IMAGE RIGHTS
As a registered participant in the first edition of the Ultra Roma 50 K , each athlete authorizes the organization, together with the legal subjects with whom the organization has professional and trade relations concerning and related to filming/taking photographs of the event, to use fixed or moving images taken of him/her and displayed during the Ultra Roma free of charge. Authorization is unlimited and may be used the world throughout or included in mediums, such as promotional and/or advertising materials, publications and videos -as current laws permit-, and includes eventual extensions to the foreseen timeframe.
art.17) LIABILITY AND PRIVACY
Upon registration to Maratona di Roma the athlete hereby declares that he/she knows and accepts all the provisions provided for by the current Rules and Regulations. The athlete excludes liability (both civil and criminal) for any damage to things and people he/she might cause, both directly and indirectly. The athletes must respect the Road Code. Within the meaning of Leg. Decree n°196 dated 30/6/2003, the athlete is bound to read and accept the Privacy Terms published on the Internet website www.maratonadiroma.it and to authorize the Organization to use his/her personal data.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the present regulations at any time for reasons that it deems appropriate for a better organization of the competition, after having communicated and obtained approval from FIDAL ( Italian Competitive Athletic Federation ) . For anything not provided for in this regulation, the technical rules of the FIDAL and the G.G.G are valid. Any changes to services, places and timetables will be communicated to the registered athletes or they will be reported on the website www.ultraroma50k.it. Moreover, the documentation containing the essential information to take part in the competition will be delivered by the organization together with the bib number.
art. 19) NO DOPING
In the days preceding the competition athletes in therapy must check the medcine they are using: they have to compare the pharmaceutical substance taken with the list of WADA Prohibited Substances, available on the website https://www.wada-ama.org/sites/default/files/wada_2019_english_prohibited_list.pdf , However it is necessary to contact immediately "Nado" to start the "TUE" procedure providing all possible data.
